Dear Parents,

Thank you for being a part of another exciting football season. Every level finished above .500 this year and we are excited about the years to come.

I want to give you some important dates in August so you can plan your vacations. August 4th will be the start of camp & August 11th is the first day of practice. Hopefully this information will be useful to you.

I have encouraged all of our players to be multi-sport athletes. Competition in another sport is great for them! If they are not out for another sport, the players are expected to be in the weight room daily. Coach Oswald does an excellent job developing our athletes.

Events

Camp starts August 4th and practice starts on August 11th.
The Mustang High School Football Camp starts August 4th at 8:00.
Cost is $25 and registration occurs on the first day of camp.

The Mustang JH Football Camp starts August 6th,7th and 8th at 1:00.
Cost is $10 and registration occurs on the first day of camp.

Football practice starts August 11th for all levels. Varsity and sophs at 8:00
and frosh at 8:30.
Mini-Camps Wednesday nights from 6:30 till dark.
Great way to learn about Mustang football. All levels are encouraged to attend.
Summer Lifting Starts on June 9
We have an excellent weight training program at Hempstead. Attendance at summer training is highly recommended and very beneficial.
Monday-Thursday
8-9:30 a.m. and 5-6:30 p.m.
Friday
8-9:30 a.m., no afternoon weights on this day
Mustang Combine May 27-30
Come test your speed and strength and see how much you have improved.
